A special rust-colored wooden facade cladding, proposed by Biolam Italia, has a Corten effect and combines the ecological raw material wood with an industrial design. The woods with their extravagant red-brown rust-toned surfaces can be ideally combined with other attractive contrasting materials such as stone, concrete, steel or glass.

Unlike the heavy Corten steel elements, the rust colored wood elements are lightweight and easy to assemble.

They can be installed vertically and horizontally. Furthermore, natural wood does not have the negative properties of “true rust”, so it is corrosion free and does not become brittle over time. In processing, the wood is thermally modified to ensure a beautiful and durable facade appearance.
